APRIL - a Homeless Story,

The book is about a young innocent, illegitimately conceived girl by her mutter, a careless and selfish woman, born into a semi-poverty environment of San Francisco. Though factual in nature, some aspects of the story are based on data from my fact finding mission on homelessness, collected over several decades primarily from two geographic sources: the states of California and Colorado with focus specifically on the inner city lives of the homeless. While to the casual observer the homeless seemingly drift aimlessly amid organized society within major cities, there are many more locations within the U.S. that the homeless have expanded to creating a sustainable sustenance, not readily acceptable to organized society.

Where much of the data sources have been acquired from documents by social researchers and investigators stored within government databases archived for public access, it was the Author's personal time and effort devoted to the homeless issue that has allowed him to write a meaningful account on the homeless culture propagating rapidly across all states.

Although our government and organized society are taking on the task of solving the homelessness issue, other countries have accepted it as a way of life without a means of ever being resolved. No matter what economic state a country endures or enjoys, prosperity or poverty, I sincerely hope that this book will bring an understanding to both sides of the issue, the homeless and organized society.

In closing the story with the last chapter, I have contributed in the section Propose Solution, my sincere contribution in providing a possible, and workable solution to homelessness.
